With our students working from home, it is imperative to provide them with avenues to enhance their extracurricular educational experiences through highly credible opportunities and platforms that help them build their skills and profile for a brighter future. Here is an opportunity by Collegify’s partner, 1 Million for 1 Billion Foundation (1M1B). A wonderful opportunity for students to lead from home during these challenging times, make some real impact and develop their leadership skills.

Students often focus heavily on gaining college admission and overlook the importance of their actual college experiences. They have access to abundant career information but struggle to utilize it effectively. Engaging in practical experiences, such as internships and conversations, can help uncover personal interests. Colleges should encourage exploration and growth, not just career preparation.

To avoid falling into the traps of coaching centers, students should take a more independent and self-directed approach to their education. This may involve seeking guidance from professors, studying with peers, attending workshops and seminars, and seeking feedback from mentors.

Future Leaders is a program for finding and nurturing the world's most promising youth leaders into human centered leaders.
Future Leaders are youth in high school and who have the potential to create meaningful influence on topics of relevance. Through a tested, researched, and intense process, these Future Leaders are given access to high impact opportunities and leadership coaching. Students work on addressing global issues through their projects to create real positive impact. At the end of the program students emerge as human-centered leaders who prioritize human values and morals over business and profits.
Students who create sustainable impact are given the opportunity to represent India and showcase their work at the 1M1B Activate Impact Summit at the United Nations headquarters in New York!
Over 300 students have undergone the Future Leaders program in the last 4 years and over 120 students have showcased their work at the United Nations through 5 editions of the Activate Impact Summit. The 1M1B summits in the past have been covered live by UN Web TV and attended in person by over 150 people including senior staff from the United Nations, country ambassadors, journalists, key influencers, leaders from large corporations, foundations.
