Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 August 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how CG Collegify Pvt. Ltd. ("Collegify", "we", "us" or "our") collects and uses information through collegify.com and Collegify-operated subdomains (together, the "Website"). It also explains the choices available to Website visitors.
Information we collect
When you request a consultation, assessment or other service, we may collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, location and the details included in your message. We may use those details to reply by email, telephone or WhatsApp, depending on the contact information you provide and the nature of your request.
To operate and secure the Website, we may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested page, security-check results, date and time, and error or delivery logs.
If you allow analytics or advertising technologies, we may additionally collect:
- pages viewed and interactions with the Website;
- the referring page and the first Collegify landing page;
- campaign information such as UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers; and
- measurement identifiers placed by Google or Meta.
Campaign attribution is stored only after the relevant permission is given. Query strings are removed from saved page and referrer URLs to reduce unnecessary data collection.
How we use information
We use information to:
- receive, store and respond to enquiries;
- deliver admissions consulting and related services requested by you;
- protect forms and the Website from spam, abuse and security threats;
- confirm that enquiry notifications were delivered to our authorised team;
- understand Website performance and improve content, journeys and services, when analytics is permitted;
- measure advertising, create or exclude audiences and avoid showing irrelevant advertising, when advertising is permitted; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations and protect our rights and users.
Cookies, local storage and similar technologies
Essential storage supports Website security, form delivery and remembering your privacy choice. It cannot be switched off through our preference panel because the Website cannot provide these functions reliably without it.
Analytics and advertising storage is off by default. The Website asks you to choose before using it for measurement or advertising. You can select Accept all, Essential only, or manage analytics and advertising separately. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Privacy choices in the Website footer.
Collegify uses Google Tag Manager to administer measurement tags. Depending on your choice, those tags may include Google Analytics and Google Ads. Google Consent Mode communicates your choice to Google tags. Collegify also uses the Meta Pixel, and may use Meta's Conversions API, only when advertising permission has been given.
When a consented enquiry is measured through both the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, the Website sends the same event identifier to both systems to prevent double-counting. Email addresses and phone numbers sent through the Conversions API are normalised and cryptographically hashed before transmission. They are not placed in the browser data layer.
Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers to run the Website and related operations. These may include:
- Cloudflare for hosting, security checks and durable enquiry storage;
- Slack for restricted team notifications about new enquiries;
- Google for tag management, analytics and advertising measurement, according to your choice; and
- Meta for advertising measurement and audiences, according to your choice.
These providers process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, prevent fraud or harm, enforce our terms, or complete a corporate reorganisation or transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell information submitted through Collegify enquiry forms.
Security and access
We use administrative and technical measures intended to protect personal information, including encrypted transport, bot protection, restricted lead access, durable storage before notification, and delivery-status logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including responding to enquiries, providing services, maintaining business and security records, resolving disputes and meeting legal requirements. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the information and why it is held.
Children and students
Our services may relate to students under 18. A parent or guardian should be involved when a minor provides personal information or engages Collegify's services. If you believe a minor's information was submitted without appropriate authorisation, please contact us.
Your choices and requests
You can change Website measurement permissions through Privacy choices in the footer. You may also contact us to ask about, correct or request deletion of personal information, or to raise a concern. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some requests may be limited by applicable law or legitimate record-keeping requirements.
External websites
The Website may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and Collegify is not responsible for those websites.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, services or legal obligations change. The current version and its update date will be published on this page.
