The Purpose Academy, a program by 1M1B in partnership with SCET, College of Engineering, UC Berkeley and the Innovation Acceleration Group (IAG), UC Berkeley, engages the brightest young minds to solve the world’s most complex problems.
This revolutionary youth program provides a holistic growth platform to students, enabling them to become responsible business leaders who create measurable impact through unique exposure to real-time problem solving. With abundant guidance from world-renowned leaders, faculty, and mentors with diverse portfolios, the program equips students with technology, ideas, creativity, resources, and the unflinching motivation to build disruptive solutions.

The Purpose Academy provides a real-life impact lab environment in which students discover not just what makes impact initiatives successful and scalable, but also what makes them fail. Whom are we looking for?
We are looking for 25 young minds from across India who are committed to making a big impact by solving complex problems. Selection to this program will be based on interviews. We are looking for participants who demonstrate and embody these traits.
- Purpose Driven: Driven by a purpose towards the challenge and committed to engendering real impact.
- Leadership: Do you have the potential to lead a team and take charge? What unique skills and experiences will help you succeed? Are you coachable?
- Resilience: Can you bounce back from failures and overcome obstacles to achieve your targets?
