In an increasingly competitive world where everyone sets their sights on a commonly sought-after goal, it becomes extremely important to rise above the crowd. When everyone has top marks, great SAT scores, volunteer work, and similar extracurriculars, how does one stand apart from the herd and get noticed?
Collegify is always on the lookout for incredible opportunities for students to help them strengthen their profile and move closer to their dream university.
1M1B (1 Million for 1 Billion) has had a productive partnership with Collegify, with many Collegify students having been a part of 1M1B youth programs to build their leadership profiles. Past students have leveraged 1M1B programs to build a stellar profile; they have spoken at the United Nations, TEDx, gathered media coverage, won awards like the Diana awards, Ashoka Changemakers, etc., and secured admission to leading global universities like Caltech, Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, Columbia, and Brown. We hereby present to you an incredible opportunity from 1M1B to build a distinct profile and stand out – The Purpose Academy!
The Purpose Academy, a program by 1M1B in partnership with SCET, College of Engineering, UC Berkeley and the Innovation Acceleration Group (IAG), UC Berkeley, engages the brightest young minds to solve the world’s most complex problems.
This revolutionary youth program provides a holistic growth platform to students, enabling them to become responsible business leaders who create measurable impact through unique exposure to real-time problem solving. With abundant guidance from world-renowned leaders, faculty, and mentors with diverse portfolios, the program equips students with technology, ideas, creativity, resources, and the unflinching motivation to build disruptive solutions.
Finding a Purpose in life is often what differentiates the winners from the others. Find a purpose so meaningful that it challenges every capacity of yours to be at its best. The Purpose Academy provides a real-life impact lab environment in which students discover not just what makes impact initiatives successful and scalable, but also what makes them fail. Failures can teach the most profound lessons; every successful person or entrepreneur would have a hundred failure stories to share!
Students today face an unpredictable future that entails complicated economic, social, and environmental issues. While school coursework focuses on the general educational curriculum, The Purpose Academy enables high school and senior school students to gain crucial life skills that will supplement them in finding their purpose in these unprecedented times, creating a pathway for entrepreneurship.
As part of The Purpose Academy, students have access to an array of exciting opportunities to allow them to truly distinguish themselves:
We are looking for 25 young minds from across India who are committed to making a big impact by solving complex problems. Selection to this program will be based on interviews. We are looking for participants who demonstrate and embody these traits.
