On paper, Pratyush had several plausible directions: He was strong in Computer Science, studied Economics and Mathematics, had spent years playing competitive cricket, followed financial markets independently and had begun gaining exposure to different businesses.
There was genuine interest across all of them and the problem was not a lack of activity. It was that “business” was still too broad an answer.
Early conversations therefore focused less on adding another credential and more on testing where his interest held up when exposed to actual work: finance, real estate, industrial operations and the use of technology inside businesses.
That distinction became important later.
The Strategy
The profile began moving closer to situations where business decisions had measurable consequences.
Pratyush worked in financial and real-estate environments, studied financial markets and construction finance, and continued building his technical understanding alongside them.
At KRS Wealth, for instance, programming was no longer simply a school subject. He used his knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript while working on the company's website and began thinking about where data and machine learning might improve financial processes.
