The Student
Shreyas came to the application process with a serious interest in history, politics, economics and international affairs. At Modern Indian School in Qatar, these interests shaped both his academic choices and his early ambition to work with international institutions.
The Challenge
His experiences were strong but initially broad. The task was to help him identify the academic question connecting his reading, research, leadership and community work.
The Work
Collegify assisted Shreyas in developing a clearer focus around the relationship between history, political power, trade and economics. His reading of The Silk Roads, work on crude-oil price variability and learning in international energy became a more coherent academic direction.
The work also brought greater detail to his activities. His roles at Eloquence and THIMUN Qatar were refined to show the responsibility behind them: supporting writers, contributing to organizational work, helping prepare a delegation and enabling other students to participate.
His work with the Acid Survivors & Women Welfare Foundation and Tribes for Good gave his interest in policy and inequality a practical grounding. Collegify then helped him connect these experiences to his university choices, essays and personal statement through close, sustained revision.
The Outcome
Shreyas received an offer from the London School of Economics and Political Science. The outcome reflected a profile that had become more focused, specific and recognizably his own.
